During the last few days we have heard the candidates making their last pleas for our votes. Our president and three former presidents have also, been on the campaign trail trying to help their parties. While one would expect a lot of rhetoric from them I did not expect pure lies and accusations from former presidents and our present president. If you vote republican, you will destroy democracy, you will lose your Social Security and Medicare, etc. Pure hatred and divisiveness when we should be looking at the real problems. This is the party that has decided that a man can have a baby or abortions have been banned and one historian told us that our children would be killed. Felons are being let ot without bail and continuing to commit crimes with two recent murders in New York City. Chicago is seeing shootings and murders in the tens and twenties each week and New Orleans has become the murder capital with more murders per 100,000 people than any other city in America. It takes twelve months of salary to buy eleven months of food, clothing and shelter now but voting against those that are running our country into socialism will destroy democracy. We can't destroy it because they have all ready done that. Voting against the destroyers is the only way to return to some normalcy in our country, reduce crime and stop runaway inflation. Two of our former presidents seem to be ready to continue the destruction and most of the media is enjoying it.
The Social Security question is really, the use of fear to get votes but the voters that are on the Social Security system should remember that it was the democrats that have diluted the buying power of Social Security over time. President Johnson combined the Social Security fund with the general fund and now the Social Security fund is nothing more than IOUs. He also started to tax 50% of the benefit. Later President Clinton raised the tax to 85% to help him balance the budget at the same time he destroyed Puerto Rico with the elimination of the 935 tax credit. My Social Security benefit that I receive now is taxed by the Federal Government for the first 85% and the West Virginia government and then after the Medicare amount is removed which is calculated by your income. half of it is gone. Accusing the republicans of destroying Social Security is laughable after they have removed half of its buying power for those receiving it.
Democracy destruction was done during the shutdown and keeping kids out of the classroom. Democracy was destroyed when school boards and unions decided to indoctrinate our children without permission of parents and do so behind the parents back. Democracy was destroyed when it became too dangerous to use the subway or walk down a street in a major city without the threat of being attacked. Democracy was destroyed when conservative groups were banned from campuses and speech was regulated by social media. Democracy was destroyed when the practice of religion became an impediment to running a small business and was sued by states and local government for adhering to religious tenets. Democracy was destroyed when police departments became the villains and were defunded without any attempt to replace their valued protection. Democracy was destroyed when the left attacked and pursued indictment against a sitting president and now a former president. Democracy was destroyed when the FBI raided homes ot the former President and also some of his closest advisors as though they were hardened criminals. The democrats do not want to preserve democracy they are afraid that republicans will retore some of the democracy they have destroyed. The upcoming election is about the destruction or restoring democracy and it is very important that the citizens of this country stop seeing party affiliation and anything else that would keep them from trying to restore law and order to this great nation.
Prayers will help and with God's Blessing we will continue to respect all of our citizens and become that nation that we used to be with the power, respect and great heart to help the world.
