1/6 TRUTH OR LIES

The January 6, riots at the US capitol did not seem any different than the riots in Portland and Kenosha except Antifa and BLB were not involved. There were no police cars vandalized or burned and no stores looted but the headlines made this capitol break-in different, and it was pursued vigorously by the federal government. That was different than the other riots when those arrested were bailed out by the same ones calling for the arrest and jail for the capitol rioters. It appeared that the inside of the capitol was torn apart and those inside were threatened and feared for their lives.  The Congress immediately started an investigation that lasted for 2 years before the republican win ended it. The reports coming out of the investigation were always very bad for the rioters and they were the worst ever even more than those in Portland that had burned a police station and looted many stores and businesses. Our Vice-President had helped raise bail money for those at the other riots but this time there was no one to help. Those arrested were locked up with many in solitary confinement for the next 2 years. No bail was allowed, and they were accused of being enemies of the state. The left had found a new way to get Donald Trump and they were going to take as many with him as they could.  I still did not pay a lot of attention to the news about the event because I cannot believe most of the news outlets anymore. Their bias is so blatant that expecting truth is a joke. Many of the people arrested finally gave in and agreed to plea deals which always ended up with some jail time and one called the Shaman, ended up being given 4 years in jail for his supposedly riotous behavior.

A long time ago my mother taught me that calling names and swearing was the lack of vocabulary or running out of brain power. When a person in an argument is losing, they defer to name calling and berating their opponent because they have actually lost the argument. Well, we have seen this for years in political debates and discussions and then it happened again in a blatant manner. A Fox news opinion anchor was given a never before seen, video that had been taken inside the capitol during the insurrection, He played it on his show and all of a sudden, the attack on the capitol changed, The Shaman that had been charged for rioting and causing turmoil and damage was seen being given a tour of the building by 2 capitol police officers. All was calm as they talked and discussed what they were seeing. We also, saw the police officer that had been supposedly killed by the rioters walking around the building very much alive. We have never been told how he died or the actual cause.  The stories that had been flooding the airways from the news outlets with their onset interviews with the congressional investigators were being proved false right in front of their eyes. The truth was being seen and the terrible offenses that were caused by the rioters were somewhat different than they had been made out to be. The more egregious act was that this video could have prevented many of the long jail sentences that had been passed down and by holding it from defense attorneys was a felony in itself. I wonder if any of the investigators will be prosecuted as their opponents were.

I believe that the most egregious thing is that the same news organizations that reported the false narratives did not have the balls to own up to their mistakes but went after the Fox reporter and the Fox News Channel. They did not try to disprove any of the video other than to say it had been edited out of other video but could not deny that it was an actual portrayal of the events in the building during the riot. They called for the firing of the reporter and to stop showing the video with Senator Shumer asking Fox to fire the reporter. Think about it when a sitting senator is asking that the first amendment be scrapped because he did not like the reporter's story even if it was true. NBC, MSNBC, ABC and CBS all started berating the reporter and calling for his termination. Not one of the news outlets were able to bring themselves to accept the truth that had been shown on the video and apologize for their former reporting. It is also possible that they had never seen the video before the Fox showing so their former reporting was supposed truth given for the moment but when that changed, they should have changed their story to the real truth instead of trying to cover for the lies that the congressional committee had given them. They should have been calling for the prosecution of those that withheld exculpatory evidence in the trials and pleas of the defendants that were already in jail. They should have listened to my mother and realized that their actions indicated that they had already lost the argument and simply trying to cover up the lies that had been told to the American people.

The corruption in our government and the struggle for power and wealth have become beyond our imagination. The constant attempts to get Trump reveal how badly they are scared of someone being elected that would put a dent into their illegal activity and political power. We as a country are at the top of a very high slope and which way, we tumble will determine whether or not we can remain a free country. When a senator is openly arguing against the Constitution that he swore to protect it is easy to see how bad off we really are. God help us.
